This self-propelled service car is a resurrection of an old Lionel favorite. It operates on an insulated spur or on its own stretch of track, powering down the line until it encounters a bumper. When it hits the bumper, the track maintenance car reverses direction and continues on until encountering another bumper. Actio is continuous, leaving the operator free for other duties. The “Danger” sign on the top platform flips each time the car changes direction. A crew member rides on the top platform performing his duties. O-Gauge, minimum curve: O-27.
