Finally, after years in business Westside Trains, Inc. is getting a facelift…at least of the website store front kind. We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes for months to bring you this site so bear with us as we still update our current store inventory and work out the small bugs that come with such a large e-commerce store launch.

This new site is filled with features to enhance your shopping experience with more improvements to come down the line. During the construction of this new site it was built with YOU the modeler in mind. It may take some time for us to work out bugs and update our brick and mortar store inventory to match the online store but in the end it will be worth the wait.

We want to make shopping with us one of the best experiences next to running trains.

The answer is simple yet complicated. As you know there are thousand of model railroad products on the market today. It is almost impossible to keep them all in stock with supply chain issues and a limited store front with inventory resources. It is easier to already have a product listed and just add a stock amount then to completely add an entire page every time a new product enters the store.

In addition we frequently buy larger lots of private collections. These might include hard to find items or discontinued items. The item(s) you are looking for might have already been bought recently as the stock inventory was low or currently was listed as unavailable. It is easier to just leave product pages up as our inventory is constantly changing.

Any item(s) that comes in to our store that get listed as USED has gone through our 14 POINT CHECK SYSTEM. We try to grade them based on what we see but are listed SOLD AS IS.

The pictures listed are from the actual product so please make sure you look at all of them including the descriptions. If there is any damage or flaws we try to list them in the description. However, we can’t catch everything due to the large number of items that come in weekly to the store used. If you have an additional questions about a used item before buying please call the store during business hours or zip us an email.

All used items are bought “AS IS” and we don’t take refunds or issue store credit on used items.

We do ship to most international locations. Keep in mind that we are not responsible for shipping delays that can happening when shipping abroad.

**PLEASE NOTE: All customs, duties, tariffs, taxes and fees imposed by any entity for this shipment are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Shipping costs will vary and can change frequently. Shipping charges are automatically calculated using the weight and dimensions of your order during the checkout process. You can determine shipping costs by adding the desired items to your cart on our website and proceeding to checkout. Shipping options with cost will be given at that point. If you decide you do not want to continue, you can exit out of the order at this point. If you decide to place an order and you have selected your shipping options, then you will proceed to the payment section.

**Most orders ship within 2-3 business days after they are place.

Currently we accept all major credit and debit cards. (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover), and Pay Pal. We do not accept Personal Checks, Certified Checks or Money Orders. Those placing and order for in-store pickup can also pay cash at the store.

If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product. Please submit an email request to support@westsidetrains.com or give our customer service department a call at during our regular business hours at 702- 254-9475.

Sign into your account portal by clicking here “Account” or find the icon located in the upper-right corner of our website.  Click the “ORDERS” tab to track your order status. Be sure that the order is marked as shipped. If your order displays your package tracking numbers, verify to see if the package is still in transit or has been delivered. If you are still not able to verify that the order has been shipped or delivered, please contact our customer service department immediately at 702-254-9475 or support@westsidetrains.com

Click the “Register” link at the upper-right corner of our website and simply follow the instructions to complete setting up your account. Your information will NEVER be sold to any company and is kept completely private. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.

To change your billing or shipping address we have on file please log into your ACCOUNT at the top right hand of our page. Once logged into your account just go to “ADDRESSES” and edit either “shipping” or “billing”.

If you forgot your password you can click the “Forgot Password” link went signing in and a new link will be sent to the email used when setting up your account.

If you need to change your password while being logged into our site you can go to your “MY ACCOUNT” tab at the top right of our site and from your online portal click “ACCOUNT DETAILS”. 

We are no longer able to combine new items to an existing order that has been processed. Subsequently, we are no longer able to make additions, deletions or modifications to orders once they have been processed for shipping. Prior to finalizing your order, review your shopping cart to assure you have ordered the correct scale, quantity, etc.

From time to time you will see coupon codes listed on our site. As well if you sign up for email notification we do send those codes directly to you as well as additional deals only to those who receive our email notification. You can enter the coupon code in your shopping cart  during the checkout process. Only one coupon code can be used at a time during checkout. Check our website often for new coupon codes and holiday deals!

All our products listed are sold as “NEW” unless otherwise listed “AS IS” or “USED“. Used items and their descriptions are listed in the product description of each individual product.

All credit card and PayPal charges are charged at the time you place an order on our site.
